Description

This classic bike is a fantastic representative of the earliest years of the incredibly popular Honda VF "Interceptor" series. As a matter of fact, this bike came from the very first model year of the 500cc Interceptor. Very sporty, but with a riding posture more upright than today's race bikes, it is not as hard on the wrists and is comfortable for both the daily commute as well as much longer rides.

This "V-Four" is in great working order and runs like a champ! I have had it for not quite four years, and have put on 2,563 of its 26,854 miles. It has always been garaged, and has had regular maintenance / oil changes. The battery is barely a year old and I also have the Clymer manual for it, which I will include with the sale.

The lower (chin) fairing is slightly yellowed (I assume from age and road grime, but it could be a replacement...dunno. It has looked that way since I bought it in '99.) It also has very minor cosmetic damage to the left side of the upper fairing (from a previous owner), and seventeen years worth of normal wear and tear on the patriotic paint (stock.) Otherwise, it is in excellent shape. See for yourself!

Riding season is here! Whether you are a new rider looking for a reliable first bike, or are a seasoned biker looking for a piece of Honda history, this is the bike for you!

Asking price: Sorry it's SOLD!
